IMPORTANT NOTICE

Considering the provisions of law no. 198/2023 and H.G. 810/2023, pupils up to the age of 26 in accredited/authorized pre-university education, including those enrolled in pre-university education units registered in the special Register of pre-university education units operating according to a foreign curriculum, benefit from free local transportation, including the metropolitan one, based on a travel ticket (PASS), throughout the entire school year. Passes are issued in physical format at CTP selling points, as well as in electronic format in the 24Pay app.

Passes are issued at CTP points based on:

1. declaration of consent regarding the processing of personal data – completed
2. the student card, stamped for the current school year, which will have the student's personal numerical code written on the first page, or the certificate issued by the educational unit for the current school year, in original, or the national student card
3. the identity card, in original for students over 14 years old, or a copy of the birth certificate, on paper, for students under 14 years old

We mention that students who live in the metropolitan area and study at an educational unit in the Municipality of Iasi also benefit from a free pass both in the Municipality and in the Metropolitan area and must present the above mentioned documents.

The pass for the metropolitan area will be issued at CTP selling points only if the student can prove that he/she is a resident within the radius of one of the Territorial Administrative Units where CTP operates (Aroneanu, Barnova, Ciurea, Holboca, Miroslava, Popricani, Rediu, Tomesti, Tutora) – the address written in the student card or the identity card for students over 14 years old. 

Taking into account that there are no CTP selling points in the metropolitan area, for pupils studying at an educational unit in the mentioned area, we are working together with AMPTI and the Territorial Administrative Units on the way in which to distribute passes. Pupils who study in the Municipality of Iasi and live outside the Metropolitan area (eg: Osoi, Schitu Duca, etc.), where there are no CTP routes, receive passes only for IASI. In order to travel to Iasi, they must request the lump sum from the educational unit.

Pupils who study at the educational unit within the radius of the commune where they reside can buy free passes from the commune's Town Hall.

The displayed prices of travel tickets valid in the urban area (Iași municipality area) are valid from the 1^st of February 2025.

Tickets purchased before this date remain valid until the 15^th of February 2025. Between 25^th of February - 1^st of March the client can pay the price difference of 0,50 Ron at CTP Headquarters and receive the new travel tickets.

Please make sure that you have a valid travel ticket for the entire duration of the trip with a means of public transport belonging to CTP Iasi!

Children up to the age of 7 benefit from free public transport.

Taking into consideration Law 199/2023 and the addresses from the Universities towards CTP, students can purchase passes at a full price – 130 lei for the urban area or 200 lei for the metropolitan area, afterwards these being settled by the Universities.

If the purchase of travel documents from the ticket and pass vending machines of CTP Iasi is not completed successfully and a voucher is issued, it can be later used at a CTP Iasi vending machine, only one time, for the purchase of travel documents having the total value identical to or higher than the one of the voucher, or the refund of the value can be requested at the central cashier of CTP Iasi, in Silvestru Street no.5 (open to public: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:00 - 14:30, Thursday: 9:30 - 17:00, Friday 8:00 - 13:00).

If the purchase of travel documents from the EPIN ticket and passes vending machines is not completed successfully and a voucher is issued, it can be used to refund the value by the EPIN operators, by calling the phone numbers 0758 28 17 56 or 0751 24 24 86, daily, between 8:00 – 20:00.
