Online tickets and passes through the 24pay mobile app
From the 22nd of July 2020: SMS, a new fast payment method!
The Iasi Public Transport Company introduces a new fast method of purchasing travel documents: the SMS.
This represents the fourth modern payment alternative existing in Iasi, which helps users especially in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic, by avoiding touching many surfaces during the purchase of tickets and passes.
HOW CAN TRAVEL DOCUMENTS BE PROCURED BY SMS?
Users will follow a few simple steps to purchase tickets/passes by SMS:
- open the 24pay application previously installed on the mobile phone;
- select the city “Iasi”;
- choose the desired travel document and confirm the payment by SMS
After receiving the transaction confirmation message, the travel ticket can be accessed at any moment in the “Wallet” section.
SMS messages can be sent through the 24pay electronic platform, for the purchase of:
- one trip tickets, valid for 120 minutes, area 1 – 0,60 euro + VAT;
- passes valid for one day – 2,30 euros + VAT.
The service is available free of charge in the Vodafone and Digi Mobil networks, and in the Orange network the ordering service fee is 0,05 EUR + VAT, additional applied tax.
From the 20th of August 2018, the Iasi Public Transport Company offers you a new, modern and efficient payment method!
Through the 24pay mobile application you can purchase travel documents by using the mobile phone connected to the Internet and a bank card.

After selecting the ticket/pass and confirming the transaction, you will receive a QR code, which will represent the purchased travel document.
The use of this application does not involve any additional costs for you, the value of the travel cards being the same as in the case of the classic paper tickets.
Refusal to present the identification code to the controller is considered a contravention and is penalized according to the regulations in force!

CTP Iasi issues, upon request, invoices for travel documents purchased through the 24pay app. The option is valid for both natural and legal persons. The request is made by e-mail, to the address financiar@sctpiasi.ro where, in addition to the data related to the transaction, the method of obtaining the invoice will be mentioned – electronically or on paper.
In the case of natural persons, the following data are required: the first 4 and last 4 digits of the card with which the travel documents were purchased, the name, the first name, the personal identification number, the address and the series and number of the identity document. Legal persons will mention: the first 4 and last 4 digits of the card with which the travel documents were purchased, the name of the commercial company, the unique identification code (CUI), the registration code at the National Trade Registry Office, delegate (name, first name), number and series of the identity document.
