CTP Iasi collaborates with public transport enthusiasts in order to accomplish together many projects, aiming not only the improvement of the quality of this service, but also the community engagement in various social and cultural activities starting from specific elements regarding this domain.

Public Transport Enthusiasts TRAMCLUB IASI NGO is voluntarily involved in the actions initiated by our company and develops various projects which benefit from all our support.

The first actions focused around a series of illustrated magazines for children, “Papatram & Co.”, written by members of the NGO, having as main characters, the trams of Iasi. The linking element is Papatram, having as a real life correspondent the well known historic tram. The stories were written with the purpose of making children curios and bringing them, in this way, closer to public transport.

Following the same direction, but trying to diversify the age categories, TRAMCLUB IASI NGO initiated the program “Iasi – City of Painted Trams”. Each theme represents an occasion of organising cultural actions both for children, as well as for the grown-up public.

Another project, this time with a major impact, has as objective creating the visual identity of the Iasi public transport. After making a pole among the citizens of Iasi, the representative colours for the public transport system were established, the vehicles being painted in a colour scheme which would contain them.

A medium term common goal represents the development of the Iasi Museum of Public Transport which would rebuild the company’s history through objects, vehicles and documents, all of these kept, restored or found at various collectors. In order to materialise this aim we need your help, too!  The modernised passenger stops in Iasi, made through the collaboration with Wink Public Multimedia, offers nowadays information, quality shelter and multiple promotion possibilities for cultural institutions or local and national brands. From music passenger stops to passenger stops where one can water the flowers, can drink water, can relax on the sofas or can wait for the transport means sitting on plane seats, the initiative offers new experience of communication and practicing the imagination.
